Strengthening family dynamics.
Family Therapy
Family Therapy, also known as Family Counseling, is a supportive way for families to improve and strengthen family dynamics. Life stressors that impact individual members of the family or the collective can be explored and resolved in this setting. Establishing an inclusive space to communicate is the goal of family therapy. Allowing members to be heard and promoting shared awareness and understanding are instrumental for positive change. This form of therapy is collaborative, and each member has an opportunity to contribute to this collective healing process.
Benefits of Family Therapy:
Supports families in under covering or resolving strains that have affected relationships within the family.
Stressors include financial hardship, life stage transitions, loss and grief, child-adolescent academic performance, child-adolescent behavior, parent-child bond, codependency, communication problems, substance abuse/addiction, mental health concerns, chronic illness, divorce, and parenting/co-parenting.
Supports the development of problem-solving and coping skills.
Enhances connection and bonding within the family.
Family Therapy with me can be conducted virtually via a HIPPA-compliant telehealth platform and in-person with clients living within some regions of Florida.
